Achieve success with  S.M.A.R.T. goals coaching

S – Specific

When setting a goal, be specific about what you want to accomplish. Think about this as the mission statement for your goal. This isn’t a detailed list of how you’re going to meet a goal, but it should include an answer to the popular ‘w’ questions:

  • Who – Consider who needs to be involved to achieve the goal (this is especially important to identify if your support group .).

  • What – Think about exactly what you are trying to accomplish and don’t be afraid to get very detailed.

  • When – You’ll get more specific about this question under the “time-bound” section of defining S.M.A.R,T. goals, but you should at least set a time frame.

  • Where – This question may not always apply, especially if you’re setting personal goals, but if there’s a location or relevant event, identify it here.

  • Which – Determine any related obstacles or requirements. This question can be beneficial in deciding if your goal is realistic and any  barriers that you may encounter.

  • Why – What is the reason for the goal? When it comes to using this method, your "Why" is personal since it is the motivation that is needed when progress plateau or encounter an unexpected barrier to change.

M – Measurable

What metrics are you going to use to determine if you meet the goal? This makes a goal more tangible because it provides a way to measure progress. If it’s a project that’s going to take a few months to complete, then set some milestones by considering specific tasks to accomplish.

A – Achievable

This focuses on how important a goal is to you and what you can do to make it attainable and may require developing new skills and changing attitudes. The goal is meant to inspire motivation, not discouragement. Think about how to accomplish the goal and if you have the tools/skills needed. If you don’t currently possess those tools/skills, consider what it would take to attain them.

R – Relevant

Relevance refers focusing on something that makes sense to change your cognitive thinking and behavior, since a  S,M.A.R.T. goals are are a process. Time is not a renewable resource.

T – Time-Bound

Anyone can set goals, but if it lacks realistic timing, chances are you’re not going to succeed. Providing a target date for deliverables is imperative. Ask specific questions about the goal deadline and what can be accomplished within that time period. If the goal will take three months to complete, it’s useful to define what should be achieved half-way through the process. Providing time constraints also creates a sense of urgency.

Covert-Abuse, Cluster B Personality Disorders pathological lying,   manipulation abuse, and Empath recovery and trauma coaching

Covert abuse covers all types of cruelty, manipulation, and harm inflicted on another person, whether that harm leaves physical scars or not. Covert abuse can also cover all relationships; it does not have to be a romantic partnership, nor does it have to be a parent-child relationship.

The two definitions of covert abuse reveal different aspects of this form of abusive behavior. The first definition (simply “hidden”) is a common characteristic of violence; it is hidden to avoid getting into trouble and to maintain an image of having it all together or being an upstanding citizen. This isn’t to say that all abuse is kept hidden; there have been plenty of instances in which abuse has been committed in the company of others, or in plain sight. Nevertheless, the nature of abuse is usually secretive.

The second definition is an important one because even if the abuse is physical, this type of covert abuse by default commits psychological damage. Why? Not only is an individual experiencing abuse (domestic violence, verbal abuse, or emotional abuse), but they are so experiencing the gaslighting effect of the abuse not being acknowledged. Consequently, survivors of covert abuse can feel as though they are losing their minds. They may feel as though they have brought the abuse upon themselves because they are unlovable, unworthy of affection or attention, or are just too dramatic to cope with normal relationship behavior. Individuals who have experienced covert abuse may also not realize that they have been abused.

Personality Type Coaching

Jungian Eight Archetypes, Keirsey Four Temperaments  and,  Myers and Briggs 16 Cognitive Stacks

Understanding personality type can help you understand your preferences and the preferences of other people and how or why these might be different. Personality types help recognize how we lead, influence, communicate, collaborate,  learn, manage behaviors, leadership style, and manage conflict and stress. There are many ways in which understanding personality type can be applied to your personal and professional relationships. It can help with parenting and leadership style and resolve conflicts more effectively when interacting with acquaintances or personal relationships by understanding the neuroscience of personality types.

Statistically,  the nine rarest personality types equal 28.5% of the population, and the seven more common personality types equal 71.8% of the population.  All nine rare personality types are two standard deviations from the population mean, and this means that the prevalence of each of the nine personality types belongs to less than 5%  of populations.  Seven of the rarest personalities occur more frequently in men, and the most significant difference in the prevalence of a  personality type and gender is ISTP.  As an ISTP female, I can personally testify how empowering it was to learn nothing "wrong"  with me; I am a born outlier with a "dirty little secret" that made me feel embarrassed. Academically, I failed more math classes than I passed, and I had to adopt attitude the that "C" made degrees when I was an undergraduate During my third attempt at intermediate algebra, I was accused of cheating on an exam because my answers were correct, but I didn't support them with the steps the instructor wanted to see. The instructor and I had a difference in opinion in defining how I could satisfy his demand for me to "show your work ." I showed my work when I wrote down the answer, but I couldn't account for the steps of my extremely logical and analytical ISTP brain.  When I was in high school, my attitude was, "I don't do homework,  I only take the tests" since my Geometry teacher expected students to do homework, and the grades I received Geometry in during high school are reported by quarter, B, F, D-, F.  I never took Trigonometry or Calculus, as a student. Yet, I am creating a math and physics program too. The more I learned about my personality type and temperament; I realized that I understood mathematics as an autodidact and that physics was "common sense" to me. Learning about the neuroscience of my personality type explained the contradictions between my well-organized brain and the need to creatively stretch boundaries with "rebellious" behavior and clever wit as an extreme "SP."

In a society that values a person's profession, judges individuals harshly for not following the status quo, and encourages the use of social media to document an ideal lifestyle, the prevalence of depressive and anxiety disorders have substantially inflated. The personality type coaching market is saturated with "MBTI Experts" who think that your personality type governs who you are as a person for your entire life; a person's personality type is only the foundation to build on. Personality Coaching is an investment in the construction of becoming the person you were born to be by utilizing your talents rather than admiring someone else's. No personality type is more ideal or desirable for a person than the one a person had when born.  I love having an  ISTP' personality, I love that I am creative, rebellious, and am happiest playing in nature. I also that i  have no desire to create a coaching program. that is  scripted and is a form a cheerleading..  I agree with  Carl Jung   that " The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are" while this may sound like a  easy  accomplishment  it extremely difficult to obtain, . We are an Artisan Operator Crafter. Aesthetics design and creativity is the signature method I used to teach physics in my coaching programs since the universal laws of physics apply to everything, including thought.
